Current projects they are involved in include:

Zambezi road extension — The project involves consulting services for the design, supervision and upgrading from gravel road to asphalt pavement. It involves approximately four kilometres of the Zambezi road extension in Lusaka province. The works were based on the integrated construction unit (ICU) Method of Works. The budget sum of the project is US$1.8 million.

Landless, Mumbwa — The project involves road upgrade from gravel to asphalt pavement. Scope of works includes side drainage and road signs. The approximate distance is 114 kilometres in two phases. The road will be completed by two different contractors and supervised by once consultant. The budget sum of the project is US$3.6 million.

Serenje, Lukulu – The project involves periodic rehabilitation of the road. The scope of works include pothole patching, edge repair, shoulder reconstruction and surfacing.

CAIP (Community Access Improvement Program) — This project includes national technical assistance to local road authorities for the implementation of community access improvement under the Danida Road Sector Programme Support Phase two.

  2. I am interested to know how is the upgrading the Mutanda- Zambezi road which has been neglected for many years.

    Good road network provides economic development to the locals and the nation at large.
