Aquila produces almost all its output in-house in Lusaka and is able to print over 1,000,000 A4 size sheets daily. Aquila can produce a range of document sizes from business cards right up to A1 (640 x 915 mm) and oversize (1010 x 710 mm), with colour variations from single to multiple and four colour coverage. Paper quality ranges from 46gsm bank paper to 600gsm packaging boards.

A fully equipped design department is available to customers, with the latest design-related tools to ensure a high standard of work. Artwork is tailored for the particular needs of individual customers.
The printing process at Aquila
Artwork files are downloaded to an in-house image-setter where colour separations are produced. Professional plates are then created for the printing press. Aquila has several types and sizes of printing presses and jobs are allocated according to document size and quantity required by clients. Once printing is complete, the job is transferred to the finishing department for trimming, packing, folding, stapling, numbering and bookbinding. Every job processed is subject to quality control before dispatch.
