From April 2008 when it opened its Ndola branch, Amerex Zambia has been active in sponsoring motor sport events in the Copperbelt in conjunction with the Ndola Motor Sport Club. In 2010 Amerex also sponsored a fully race competitive 4x4 vehicle which won the gruelling 2-day Big Toys event in Kitwe. This adds another US$11,000 to the sponsorship amount, making a total of US$26,000 for the 2010 season in Zambian Motorsport.
For the 2011 season Amerex will be sponsoring an amount to match last year’s sponsorship and will ensure they deliver quality services, adequate fire safety measures and equipment as well as qualified fire marshals to protect all participants and the public.
