Operating in Zambia since 2008, Kinglong Motors is a branch of the Higer Bus Company, one of the fastest developing bus manufacturers in China. Kinglong Motors is one of the leading contributors to the local transport system.

Kinglong Motors is committed to providing the best service for Higer customers and have incorporated a service centre in Lusaka to ensure systematic service sales, spares and after sales-service. This service centre provides services for customers from Southern African countries including Zambia.

In line with its mission statement to bring the latest and advanced technology to benefit the Zambian people, Kinglong Motors has plans to set up an assembly plant for luxury buses in Zambia. This will make Zambia a regional hub from which export markets within the region can be reached.

In order to meet local demand and needs, Higer engineers work to make continual improvements to the Higer buses according to market requirements. Recent improvements have included front divided wind-shields, sliding window with filtering glass, large luggage compartment equipped with guard rail, enlarged radiator together with high-quality connectors and sensors.
