We breed and grow our tilapia on the shores of Lake Kariba and sell our product fresh nation-wide. For Yalelo, learning is viewed as a strategic component of our overall strategic human capital development mission, which is overseen by our Talent department which is currently looking for a Skills Development (Business/Corporate) Trainer to work with the team. The Skills Development (Business/Corporate) Trainer will assist in all aspects of training development and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • The Skills Development (Business) Trainer will be responsible for, amongst other things:
  • Designing, compiling and updating training material, gathering inputs from all relevant stakeholders
  • Designing assessments for training programmes
  • Preparing training facilities and delivering training programs
  • Delivering feedback to managers and supervisors
  • Compiling and managing training administration, schedules and training reports
  • Evaluating and assessing training
  • Developing, recommending, managing & maintaining training quality standards
  • Maintaining the training database

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification holder
  • 12 months+ work experience, inclusive of time spent wholly or considerably within the private sector
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Dedicated team player who takes initiative, is detail oriented, organized and has proven ability to follow up tasks through to quality completion
  • Comfortable working with internal and external parties
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office (including MS PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter who is able to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work Monday to Saturday
