Shamilimo Lodge: Lodge

Enjoy genuine Zambian hospitality at Shamilimo Lodge - just 20 minutes drive from Ndola. The unpretentious traditional-style self-contained units are set in lawned grounds amongst tropical plants. The lodge comprises seven twin-bedded rondavels and five double-bedded rondavels. All rondavels have TV, fridge, en-suite shower and separate toilet, and are immaculately clean. Every rondavel is named after a prominent traditional chief and is tastefully furnished, with either twin beds or a double bed. All beds have mosquito nets.

Guests can also experience unpretentious well-cooked Zambian food in the open-sided thatched restaurant, refresh themselves in the well-stocked bar, and cool off in the large swimming pool set in the extensive grounds. Visitors are assured of secure parking for vehicles. A large conference centre is available for seminars or corporate functions.

Nsobe Game Camp lies just a few Kilometres south of Shamilimo Lodge, offering sightings and photo opportunities of a large selection of African wild game. And Kashiba Sunken Lake, a national monument, is approximately 60 Kilometres away, along a good gravel road (preferably use a 4x4 vehicle).
