Lodge accommodation
Rooms at Lake Safari Lodge are spacious, simple and comfortable with a more classic than modern feel. All rooms have either one king or two double or single beds and can accommodate a maximum of three guests. Accommodation rates include full English breakfast. Guests can relax in the gorgeous swimming pool or enjoy the seclusion of the stunning plunge pool that overlooks the lake. Recline with a book, sip on a drink or enjoy a small bite to eat. Other facilities include a pool table, gym facilities and a library. For the ultimate in convenience guests can arrive direct via helicopter onto the newly installed helipad!
Activities at Lake Safari Lodge
There are a range of activities that can be arrange for you and they include boating trips, sunset cruises, a range of water sports, visits to Kariba dam wall, visits to a nearby crocodile farm and fishing trips. In fact Lake Kariba is perfect for sport fishing and Lake Safari Lodge offer boats and priceless advice on how to catch the prized tiger fish! The tiger fish is considered by many skilled anglers to be one of the finest game fish in existence and these fish have flourished in the rich waters of Lake Kariba. The annual Tiger Fishing Competition known as the Siavonga Tiger Challenge takes takes place in December and it is an event not to be missed. It is great fun for all participants and spectators, it's well worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Guests are welcome to hire boats from Lake Safari Lodge, or alternatively, you can bring your own boat and launch it from the Lake Safari Lodge private slipway.
