The exceptional location of Croc Valley Camp makes it a regular host to Zambian wildlife like elephants, giraffe, buffalo, hippos, monkeys, antelope and crocodiles. Bird life can also be viewed in abundance with exceptional sightings of many of the migratory birds plus regular residents like open billed storks, African fish eagles, bee -eaters and many more.

Set in an oasis of calm along the bank of the Luangwa River, Croc Valley Camp was fully renovated in February 2005. Croc Valley Camp has heeded the world’s carbon foot print call and is completely environmentally friendly. The chalets are built from local natural products and in order to escape the off-season floods, they are raised on stilts, providing a fantastic viewpoint from which to see the wildlife.

The camp fits effortlessly into the surrounding riverine habitat with fantastic views. It is not uncommon to see elephants crossing the river and strolling through the camp.

Throughout your stay, chefs provide delicious quality meals and snacks from original recipes using fresh ingredients. For those who wish to self-cater or camp, full kitchen facilities are provided. A fully-serviced camp-site with parking areas, summer huts, power points, hot showers and ablutions, welcomes campers and overland trucks.

Drives are conducted in either Toyota Land Cruisers or the camp's 20-seater vehicles for larger groups, these are designed to watch Croc Valleys carbon footprint in the park.

Between safaris, in the midday heat, the hippo friendly" swimming pool is perfect for sun bathing and cooling off and hammocks are scattered around the camp for lazing around and watching the world go by.
