Chudleigh House Pre-school believes that children learn through play. At this age the school instils a love for learning. Pre-school is time of learning through experience. Everything a child takes part in at this phase is classified as learning. The teachers value excellence and take a well rounded approach to learning. School days are planned around individual needs for growth to cultivate emotional, physical, social, intellectual and spiritual development.
Educational subjects
Children are taught phonics, reading, comprehension, handwriting, spelling and grammar. These subjects lay a foundation for communicating in English. French is introduced early in the curriculum. Pre-maths, and creative activities and an introduction to special papers improve the child's analysis. Information Technology is also introduced early so children get used to the handling of IT equipment.
