Nkhwazi School Pre-school

Nkhwazi School aims to provide a first class pre school education to children of all backgrounds within the Lusaka community. Their approach enable reception pupils to transfer with ease to primary school and from primary school to secondary schools of choice either within Zambia or abroad.  Gently encouraging young children to develop in a healthy and balanced way, Nkhwazi aims to educate the whole child, pursuing artistic, cultural and sporting activities as well as manipulative skills and the first steps in academic subjects.

Nkhwazi pre school's main objectives are:

• To provide first class pre school education to enable pupils to proceed with ease to primary schools of choice, whether in Zambia or abroad.
• To lay a foundation on which literacy and numeracy can be built, whilst also offering artistic, cultural and sports programmes.
• To instill social and family values in the pupils

Presently the school has three Reception classes, with a maximum class size of 27. Nkhwazi offers high standards in education through small class sizes, dedicated, qualified teachers and excellent facilities.

Extra curricular activities
These help pupils learn to work together and to express their unique personalities. Nkhwazi provides excellent facilities including an extensive playing field which caters for all sporting activities, and a swimming pool especially designed for this early learning age group.

Nkhwazi School have a wide range of facilities which include:

• Well equipped classrooms with carpeted areas, modern chalkboards, water dispensers, room dividers and display pin boards.
• A teaching pool for children from Reception to Grade two.
• A multi purpose hall with a large stage and a seating capacity of over a thousand.
