Nalumba Lodges

Located 600 kilometers west of Lusaka, in the town of Mongu, Nalumba Lodges offer accommodation to both local and international guests. Check on the right for details of the three lodge locations.

The three lodges offer a total of 33 self contained rooms with seven deluxe rooms, four executive rooms, 17 doubles and five twin rooms. All the rooms have air conditioning, DSTV, mini fridges, tea and coffee making facilities, phones and wireless internet. Each Nalumba Lodge also has a standby generator, a laundry service, secure car parking and a courtesy shuttle bus.

Nalumba Lodges and the Kuomboka Ceremony

All Nalumba Lodges offer excellent packages for the spectacular Kuomboka Ceremony held each April. These packages are designed to ensure you get the most out of this world-famous traditional occasion. Other recreational facilities on offer include boat hire services, pool tables and family entertainment.

The original Nalumba Lodge at Lishengo Lodge has a sports bar and café offering a full sporting experience with wide screen TVs in a café setting. Here you can support your favourite rugby and football teams during your stay in Mongu.

Kuta Lodge on the Mongu – Lusaka Road opposite Kambule High School, offers two air conditioned conference rooms, each comfortably seating up to 100 people. These conference facilities are fitted with all the necessary equipment to host your specific requirements, including projectors, P.A. systems, televisions, DVD players, white boards and flip charts.
