Zambia has welcomed many other religions besides Christinaity, despite it being a Christian nation. Christians comprise of Roman Catholics, Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Pentecostals, Anglicans, Presbyterians to mention but a few, and all these have churches where they gather to worship. Here you will find places to worship in Zambia, churches to worship as a Christian.

Zambia is a Christian nation with over 80 per cent of the population believing in the Christian faith. The current Zambian constitution declares Zambia a Christian nation while permitting freedom of conscience, including freedom of all worship.

Churches often run church-supported schools, colleges, universities, clinics and hospitals in Zambia.

Anglican Church is the primary state church in England, where the concepts of church and state are linked. The Anglican Communion is represented in Zambia by the Central Zambia Diocese.

Episcopal, an adherent of the episcopal form of church government and a member of an episcopal church such as the Protestant Episcopal Church. The A.M.E. Church currently has 20 districts, each with its own bishop: 13 are based in the United States, mostly in the South. while seven are based in Africa.

Assembly of God. A Pentecostal church committed to evangelizing Zambia resulted in mature believers involved in planting Spirit-empowered churches that fulfil the Great Commission.

Baptists belong to the Protestant movement of Christianity. They believe that a person can attain salvation through faith in God and Jesus Christ believe in the sanctity of the Bible. They practice baptism but believe that the person must be wholly immersed in water.

What makes the Lutheran Church distinct from the rest of the Christian community is its approach towards God's grace and salvation; Lutherans believe that humans are saved from sins by God's grace alone through faith alone and they believe in the Holy Trinity.

Methodism is a group of historically related denominations of Protestant Christianity that derive their doctrine of practice and belief from the life and teachings of John Wesley.

Presbyterianism is a part of the Reformed tradition within Protestantism that traces its origin to the Church of Scotland. Presbyterian churches derive their name from the presbyterian form of church government by representative assemblies of elders.

Roman Catholicism is the largest of the three major branches of Christianity. Thus, all Roman Catholics are Christian, but not all Christians are Roman Catholic.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is an Adventist Protestant Christian denomination that is distinguished by 1. its observance of Saturday, the seventh day of the week in Christian and the Hebrew calendar as the Sabbath, and 2. a belief in the imminent Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
