FQM MTB School Series Finals

Keep Saturday morning free (22nd September) and head to Trident College to watch the final race of the FQM MTB School Series, which also has plenty of other fun stuff to watch and do!

  • A series of fast, exciting MTB School Series races all within Trident College grounds, starting with the Prep Junior (under 10) race right up to the Youth and Junior Mens race. Some Kansanshi ‘pro’ riders will also be taking part to push the riders to their limits!
  • “Wheelie World Champs” on the main field...bring your bike and see how far you can go! This runs throughout the morning.
  • “The Fox Hunt” - parents, teachers, supporters ... riders get a head start on two well known Kansanshi ‘pro’ riders who will then try and catch the ‘foxes’!
  • Food by ATS will be on sale, plus water and ice cold slushies
  • Kansanshi Road Race 2018 prize giving will be held before the main School Series Final prize giving!
  • Sun shelter will be available so bring your camping chairs and enjoy a fun morning at Trident College!

  • 07h00 – Registration
  • 07h30 – Race briefing and Prep Junior race (1 x 2.7km lap)
  • 08h15 – Prep Junior prizegiving
  • 08h30 – Sprogs race (1 lap x 4.3km lap)
  • 09h30 – Sub Junior Boys and Girls, Youth Women and Junior Women race (3 x 4.3km laps)
  • 10h30 – Youth and Junior Men race with resident ‘pro’ riders (4 x 4.3km laps)
  • 12h00 – The Fox Hunt (1 lap x 4.3km lap)
  • 12h30 – Kansanshi Road Race Prize Giving
  • 13h00 – MTB School Series Prize Giving and presentation of Zambia Schools Team
