"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better." - Samuel Beckett
Back by popular demand: I Blew it Nights are evenings devoted to the good stuff: failure. This month BongoHive is delighted to host another established entrepreneur, Sipho Phiri, who is the Executive Chairman at Western Power and Co-founded Leopards Memorial Park. In this talk you can expect an experience-based story about Sipho’s past failures and unexpected twists in life, and most importantly, how these events have brought him closer to his success today.
About Blew It Night:
I blew it nights are events where stories of failed businesses and projects are told, questioned and celebrated. Each event is a unique opportunity. BongoHive invites entrepreneurs who will to talk about their “blew it” stories; we’ll learn about their biggest mistakes, what they learned, how they moved on- all whilst sharing invaluable advice along the way. At the end of each person’s story, you’ll have a chance to ask questions- nothing too cheeky, but feel free to dig around.
You’ll hear stories and advice you won’t get elsewhere - and these stories will (hopefully) put you in good stead to not make the same mistakes.
Who Is It For?
I Blew It Nights are a rare breed of events uniting professionals of all ages and domains as well as students, entrepreneurial spirits and creative souls from all kinds of backgrounds and at various stops in their career journeys. Artists, startuppers, techies, students, investors, CEOs, bankers, engineers... you name it—all united under one group with one simple common denominator: failure.
