Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following position aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Digital Banking Division under the Digital Banking Products & Marketing Department at Head Office:
The Marketing Specialist Digital Banking Products will be responsible for generating and implementing strategies to drive product activation and utilization as well as improve customer experience.
Under the supervision of the Head Digital Banking Products & Marketing, the following are among the Job’s Key Responsibilities:-
To give input for development of the marketing strategy for the digital banking department in line with the Bank’s objectives.
To give input for identification of target markets and develop strategies to communicate with and appeal to the target markets.
Conduct research into attaining customer insights.
To lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted segments to “take action”.
To measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
To monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
To oversee marketing and advertising activities for digital banking to ensure consistency with product line strategy.
To monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.
To brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
To align the digital banking division around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics.
To give input to marketing plans and budgets.
To manage all marketing activities for the digital banking division.
To plan and implement promotional campaigns in order to increase digital product uptake and utilization.
To give feedback to digital products head to drive improvement of existing product and service offerings.
Manage the production and distribution of all collateral for the digital banking division.
To implement lead generation campaigns and measure and monitor results.
Drive all churn management initiatives related to account activation and customer retention.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant Bank functions are kept informed of marketing objectives and activities.
To give input for the development of the yearly campaign plan, including the planned hit ratio.
To manage, monitor and measure the quarterly acquisition campaigns.
Prepare, implement and manage product and channel campaigns.
To give input for the development of incentive programs for the increase of sales through the use of market research results and also monitoring competitor activities.
To implement regular road shows throughout all outlets and branches to provide support and check on results.
To carry out any other tasks assigned by management.
Advertising Agencies and other stakeholders that form part of the delivery value chain.
Five (5) Credits Grade 12 Certificate including Mathematics and English.
University Degree in Marketing or any other relevant field or a Chartered Marketer.
At least three (3) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing.
Experience in team management.
