Responsibilities
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the execution of strategies, brand management and campaigns. The executive will support the generation of strategies that will grow the Banks market share and brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth.
To assist in drafting briefs for agencies and other suppliers
To plan, co-ordinate and implement internal marketing
To draft and build reports for Commercial Heads of Business and MBoard
Event implementation
Competitor scanning and reporting
Building and managing a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our chosen digital platforms
To be monitoring and engaging in relevant social discussions about Zanaco
Initiating effective marketing campaigns online and run regular social promotions and track their success e.g. Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions etc.
Writing various types of articles on products and services that will be used as content for our platforms
Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep Zanaco ahead in the digital marketing space
Assisting in budget management through regular reporting of budget utilization and submitting and reconciling expense reports
To be responsible for logging in quotes and invoices in iProcure
To be responsible for payments to agencies and suppliers
Planning, setting up meetings and taking detailed minutes and action plans
To maintain shared folders for all marketing templates and reports
To maintain contact lists and appropriate filing systems
To update and maintain policies and procedures INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACT External Advertising Agencies and other stakeholders that form part of the delivery value chain Internal

Qualifications
Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects.
University Degree in Marketing or a related field
Minimum two years in a busy marketing department
Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media with a command of each network and their best practices
Good understanding of the full marketing mix
