Head of Sales

Maximize revenues of the sales team through the planning and management of sales activities. Maintain effective communications with general management level and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of the sales force. Supervision of contracts, direct sales, customer acquisition, customer retention, customer relations and related financial performance in order to achieve subscriber, revenue and market share growth targets.

Maintain high penetration of all company’s products/services through effective channel management

Maintains expertise on company’s products/services to effectively manage sales activities

Achieve subscriber volumes, revenue and market share objectives

Planning and execution of annual corporate customer business plans

Develop a corporate sales business plan

Review Marketing research feedback evaluate and monitor overall corporate segments

Define proposal requirements with corporate

Manage the overall channel debt portfolio as per acceptable debt ratios

Set up track and manage sales budgets to ensure budget achievement

Analysis and review of pricing as per market needs


Bachelor’s Degree in Business

Masters in Business Administration/Marketing would be preferred additional qualification

Required Experinece Or Skills

Eight (8) years of experience of effective business management

Three (3) – 5 years of sales experience in within Telecommunication industry, insurance or banking

Three 3+ years at middle management level

Personal Behaviour Required In the post

Strong Customer Service orientation

Highest level of knowledge of all products

Able to handle, prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Able to operate in a performance driven organization

Excellent understanding of reporting and planning processes

Ability to manage an outsourcing partner to deliver business solution

Business awareness with strong ability to use initiative

Strong leadership skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing

Ability to innovate and deliver value to business at multiple levels will play an important role
