Entrepreneurs Financial Centre. Pulse Financial Services Limited (PFSL) also trading as Entrepreneurs Financial Centre (EFC), is a deposit-taking microfinance institution licensed by the Bank of Zambia. The institution offers specialized financial services to micro, small and medium enterprises including business women. The institution started as a CARE Zambia project in 1996. In 2009, the institution got a Deposit Taking License from Bank of Zambia. In 2011 PFSL joined the International Network of Entrepreneurs Financial Centre — EFC and is now trading under this name and is operating in Zambia. Tanzania Uganda, and Panama. Responsibilities

The Branch Manager shall among other things:

Plan, supervise, train and control the work of the employees in the Branch to achieve targets;

Manage all the human, financial and material resources of the Branch;

Timely prepare the required daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the Branch;

Manage the Branch’s operations and credit activities according to set stands and procedures; Apply control measures and ensure a sound management of the Branch’s registers;

Manage loans and ensure a sound and careful management of the risks;

Participate in the development of the Branch action plan, implement it and follow-up;

Develop and maintain a business relationship with the clients while ensuring that the established agreements are profitable for both the EFC and the client;

Ensure the efficiency and continuous improvement of all the processes of the Branch;

Manage the SAF2000 system;

Undertake any other related activities as directed by the superior.

Qualifications

University Degree in Business related studies;

Three years relevant experience;

Good knowledge of applicable compliance laws for a financial institution;

Strong understanding of customer requirements;

Good knowledge of credit and financial systems;

Strong leadership and supervisory skills;

Excellent planning and organising skills;

The ability to motivate and develop others;

Excellent interpersonal skills in a cross-cultural environment;

The ability to build teamwork; Excellent problem solving skills;

Ability to analyze and interpret financial data;

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;

Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Spreadsheet, etc.);

Good report writing skills.
