Location: Nchelenge

Role Purpose:

The Driver is responsible for providing support in the area of staff road travel needs, ensuring the maintenance and effective running of office & field vehicles.

Key Areas of Accountability:

• Ensure that the Driver supports SCI to implement project humanitarian response activities in Nchelenge;

• To drive office staff and any other visitors as assigned;

• To be responsible for all project vehicles;

• Ensuring that all vehicles are kept clean at all times;

• To deliver all mail, cheque payments and parcels to designated places;

• Ensuring that all vehicles are roadworthy at all times;

• To follow up office vehicles in terms of insurance, road license and maintenance;

• To follow up fuel account for office vehicles;

• Preparation of monthly vehicle analysis report;

• The post holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience.

Qualifications and experience

• Grade 12 full certificate

• Five (5) years working experience in a reputable organization plus a clean class C driver’s license

• Must be able to prioritise work
