Product Technician

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Test product prior to delivery
  • Train clients in the use and maintenance of RTO’s product’s
  • Preform installation of products
  • Assist in delivery of product’s
  • Responds to product faults inquiries
  • Install, and train clients in the operation of bio digesters
  • When necessary assist in the promotion and sales of products.
  • Perform client product check-ins and client product questionnaires
  • Works with Logistics staff to provides ongoing technical training and support
  • Work with call centre staff to provides ongoing technical training and support
  • Works with finance staff to report inventory movements
  • Works with procurement staff to buy spare parts when required

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong technical competency and ability for technical problem solving
  • Basic construction knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong team player

Basic Computing skills:

  • Gmail, MS Office
  • Verbal and written English
  • Verbal and written Tonga and/or Nyanja
  • Zambian Driver’s License and/or Motorcycle License preferred
  • Knowledge of Bio gas installations an added advantage.
  • Relationships/Base

Based In:

Choma, Southern Province, Zambia

Reports to: RTO Field Manager

Works with:

  • Field Officers, Call Center Staff, Product Development Lead, Logistics Staff, and Procurement Staff
