IT Support Officer

Specific responsibilities:

  • General IT Support, troubleshooting and supporting staff with hardware and software inquiries; working together with RTO team to deliver a professional high quality service level to end users
  • Administer user access to systems, databases to monitor each on uptime, adding/removing users, and usage
  • Assist in training and support of users of technology and systems
  • Identify and recommend new initiatives to enhance and improve company systems including in HR, Finance and field Operations.
  • Managing the relationship with the ISP and ensure internet connectivity is up all the time
  • Store and backup files in organized and logical manner
  • Check data integrity by comparing information from various sources
  • Conduct safety checks on computer equipment.
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Support the roll-out of new applications

Education & Experience required:

  • High school Certificate with A merit in Math & English
  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field
  • At least 2years experience in a user support role
  • Process Improvement and Data Processing
  • Knowledge of Networking,
  • Experience with Cloud Technology
  • Experience with Google for business
  • Makes recommendations in areas of expertise. Ability to innovate and improve processes.
