Talent Acquisition, Management & Engagement Administrative Assistant

Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (ZANACO) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Human Resources & Training Division under the Talent Acquisition, Management & Engagement Department. The opportunity is available for a period of up 31st December 2018, dependent on performance and the continued requirements of the project.

Job Purpose

  • To provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition, Management and Engagement (TAME) team and ensure effective implementation of all TAME activities and initiatives so as to ensure that the organization is adequately and consistently resourced with high quality and engaged talent capable of delivering on the organization’s strategic objectives.

Under the supervision of the Talent, Acquisition, Management & Engagement Head, the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities:-

  • Support the recruitment and selection process by formulating the vacancy notices for review and obtaining approval by line manager and Head of Talent Acquisition, Management and Engagement.
  • Facilitate outreach to suitable candidates via adverts.
  • Respond to all general inquires and postings made internally or externally.
  • Support the on-boarding process for new hires, including processing paperwork, identifying key resources/tools and business contacts and administering of Onboarding Packs.
  • Order and maintain the necessary supplies for the Talent team including New Hire Packet inventory/Onboarding Packs.
  • Pre-screen applications and shortlist suitable candidates in liaison with line managers.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews in liaison with the Talent Acquisition Management and Engagement Team.
  • Facilitate assessment of required skills using customized assessment tools.
  • Maintain Recruitment database, support the enhancement of a computerized system and/or development of new features, thereby contributing to increased efficiency in the selection, placement and recruitment process.
  • Advise staff and managers on pre and post recruitment procedures to be followed, ensuring conformity with requirements and compliance with the rules and regulations.
  • Liaise with recruiting managers on recruitment and selection processes.
  • Collate and consolidate interview results.
  • Organise logistics for all staff engagement and change management initiatives when required.
  • Provide first-class customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects.
  • University Degree in relevant subject.
  • At least 1-2 years related work experience.
