Zambian Breweries Plc is a subsidiary of the AB Inbev and is the leading beverages company as well as the franchise bottler of The Coca Cola Company in Zambia. We seek innovative and ambitious professionals to drive performance in a dynamic, challenging and stimulating work environment.We therefore invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

Contract: permanent

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

  • On site treatment for employees by offering effective treatment of injuries and illnesses at place of work and referrals for more complicated cases and follow ups
  • Ensuring compliance to applicable Occupational Health and Safety System requirements (in liason With the OHSE Controllers)
  • Driving HIV/ AIDS programs and ARV administration and ensuring that all HIV/AIDS programs are spearheaded and support of peer educators attained
  • Ensuring onsite VCT for employees is conducted and that the administration Of ARVS is monitored and controlled providing medical legal aid by providing technical advice on medical legal issues providing Data / statistics to management for planning purposes.
  • Ensuring that drug Stocks are maintained and controlled.
  • Ensuring medical examinations are conducted.
  • Facilitating medical retirement for employees with ill health and audiometric tests for eligible employees as per Occupational Health and Safety.

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of 6 Credits
  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine with 3 to 5 years’ work experience with a clean record in a FMCG
  • Certificate in Counselling and management of HIV/AIDS
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia and with a valid practicing license
  • Extensive knowledge and involvement in HIV/AIDS Management and Counselling
  • Trustworthy, Innovative, analytical, and Hardworking with minimum supervision required
  • Diligent team player, High integrity, Good Interpersonal Skills, and Honest with no criminal record
  • Good self -management practices
