Parts Pricing Coordinator

Job Purpose:

  • The Parts Pricing Coordinator will support the Parts Team in all branches in effective material pricing and sustainability.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish pricing strategies that meets the set standards, requirements, policies and procedures
  • Update price changes in SAP accurately, with integrity, and consistently as advised
  • Monitor all SAP prices adjustments i.e. Perpetual and provide reporting
  • Monitor Sales turnovers for all branches and realistic price and GP fluctuation
  • Monitor Gross Profits for all branches and prevent margin erosion and profit leak
  • Monitor and recommend allowable trade discounts in accordance to customer segmentation
  • Initiate SLA processes, monitor price agreements and expirations
  • Conduct Price and Market Surveys, Market Research across all territorial brands, having knowledge and awareness of upcoming supplier cost changes
  • Review existing Retail Prices, COS and Gross Profits daily
  • Communication and correspondence with pricing, purchasing and sales departments
  • Submit Sales monthly report and analytical reports
  • Assist with Sales Promotions i.e. Aged Stock
  • Assist the Parts Team drive sales, increase profitability, meet productivity standards and remain competitive
  • Monitor customer daily Credit Returns and Monthly Reporting.

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Degree/Diploma In The Field Of Market Research Or A Related Major In A Business Discipline (Mathematics, Statistics & Economics);
  • Experience In Retail Or A Related Industry;
  • Excellent Computer (Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint & Word) And Analytical Skills;
  • Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills;
  • At Least 3 Years’ Working Experience In A Parts Environment
