Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator: Zambia will be responsible to drive and develop our sales in the country through the sales team and the distribution network. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager, this is an exciting and challenging role which will be instrumental in developing and growing the Yara market share in the coming years.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and monitor business sales budgets, market strategies and financial objectives.
  • Drive and actively manage the sales team and sales through distribution network based on strong local market knowledge
  • Provide Sales & Marketing support to the sales reps, distributors and farmer base through retailer and farmer meetings
  • Direct involvement with customers and management of key accounts
  • Carry out marketing activities, in accordance with the local and Regional strategy
  • Manage reporting and monitoring in accordance with the unit requirements
  • Ownership for internal product procurement and forecasting processes
  • Managing the sales order and credit control processes
  • Ensure all sales activities are according to lawful and ethical standards, according to company best practices and compliance policies
  • Ensure that business activities complies with the Yara Health, Safety and Quality principles.

Profile

  • Minimum bachelor degree in business or agronomy
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a sales management role
  • Highly Driven with strong sales background
  • Results oriented
  • Good at networking and customer relationship management
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Agronomic knowledge and understanding of farming practices preferred
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Ability and willingness to travel
