Admin and Front Desk Controller

Manage the day to day running of the following Lodge departments:

  • Front Desk and Administration
  • Provide oversight of the following department: Storeroom
  • Ensure the Lodge can reach its targets e.g. sales, room occupancy, product development deadlines, system development deadlines
  • Supervise Front Desk Receptionists
  • Build on the Aabiya Lodge Brand
  • Skills development program monitoring and implementation for Staff Members
  • Manage Bookings
  • Maximize Revenue

Skills:

  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Bemba, Nyanja and English
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, PDF
  • Online Booking Channel Management (booking.com)
  • Customer Service
  • Front desk check in procedures
  • Able to understand client billing statement
  • Basic accounting e.g debtors, creditors, budgets, income statement knowledge etc.
  • Filing and organizing documents

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in hospitality Management, Accounts or Admin related course

Age:

  • 24 to 32 years old

Experience:

  • At least 3 years in employment (minimum 1 year in service industry job and minimum 1 year in admin or accounts related job)
