This role reports directly to the Chief Credit Officer.
The overall objective of the Credit Manager is to ensure that all applicable policies, procedures and regulations are compiled (including Local and Group regulations) and to improve the quality of the lending book, whilst minimizing credit losses within set parameters.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
1. Credit Granting Process
Analysis, assessment and approval (within delegated authorities) of credit applications to ensure that risks are sufficiently contained within acceptable parameters, relative to the profitability of each deal.
