Risk Analyst Credit Financial Reporting D - IRC162735

Purpose

  • Assist with the identification and analysing of risk factors which have an impact on the business, in line with legislative, regulatory and financial requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Grade 12 with a Diploma in Risk Management or any related Studies.
  • 2-3 Years Banking Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Analysis of financial transactions and statements to forecast potential losses and recommend write offs.
  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
  • Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant risk methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information.
  • Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate risk and make recommendations to reduce / control risk
  • Monitor risk processes to identify and report on possible risk where applicable
  • Propose and implement new Risk improved models and methodologies.
  • Benchmark current practices against the risk management framework and adjust practices as and when necessary.
  • Log operational losses, report on the losses on a monthly basis and conduct loss reconciliations
  • Manage own development to increase own competencies.
