Assistant Programme Officer

The incumbent will report directly to the Senior Programme Officer and will assist in drawing up yearly and long term project plan and budgets for the fulfillment of the mandate of the Office of the Commissioner for Refugees. He/she will work closely with UNHCR and other partners to ensure the timely implementation of all project activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full Grade Twelve certificate or equivalent
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Social Science, International Law or related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous job experience relevant to the function.
  • Computer skills (in MS office).
  • Planning, Organizing and analytical skills, strong numerical skills, Team player.
  • Strong interest in Humanitarian programs.
