Drivers (03 Position at PHO and 06 At District Level)

The Southern Provincial Health Office under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking for eligible, self-motivated and qualified applicants for the positions listed below for the various levels (Provincial, District, Facility and Community)


Purpose: Responsible is to drive project vehicles in order to facilitate mobility of officers and material and equipment.


  • Drives safely and regularly the Program officers on official duty
  • Prepares timely accidents reports in order to facilitate decision making
  • Completes timely logbooks in order to enhance accountability of the trips
  • Undertakes regularly basic vehicle inspection in order to ascertain its road worthiness


  • Grade twelve school certificate
  • Proven experience as a Driver
  • A valid driver’s license (Class B or C)
  • A clean driving record
