Brand and Communications Manager

Department: Marketing

Level: Senior Manager

Location: Lusaka

Job Purpose:

To achieve business goals and brand saliency by devising strategies for the Zambia Operation, in line with the overall brand strategy and subsequently plan and implement the same at the country level.

Reporting to the marketing director, the main responsibilities are:

  • Optimum utilization of Marketing budget
  • Achieve TOMA (Top of Mind Awareness) & ITP (Intention to Purchase) Targets
  • Brand Visibility
  • Monitor bound & quality delivery by the vendors
  • Develop new and rural specific initiatives
  • Drive all national brand initiatives at the country level.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication or related discipline
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication or MBA in Marketing
  • Professional Qualifications in advertising, Marketing & Communication will be an added advantage
  • 8-10 years of work experience in similar industry / organization
  • Work experience in advertising agency will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 3 years in Management role.
