FHI 360 is currently recruiting for the position of Chief of Party (COP) for an anticipated USAID-funded district governance strengthening project in Zambia. The project will help the Government of the Republic of Zambia with informing citizens and building their capacity to effectively demand improved service delivery while strengthening a local system of governance capable of responsive service delivery. The COP will be responsible for providing overall vision, leadership and guidance for the project. S/he will service as the project’s main point of contact for USAID, the GRZ, international and local partners, and other program stakeholders. The COP will be responsible for overall project management and technical operations and ensure that project tasks are completed on time and the project objectives are successfully met. FHI 360 anticipates that the Chief of Party will be based in Lusaka but with project-funded travel to other parts of Zambia. This is a full-time position based in Lusaka, Zambia, for a duration of five years. Zambian nationals are strongly encouraged to apply. Availability of the position is contingent upon successful award of the project to FHI 360. The anticipated start time is Spring 2020.
