Fleet Manager

Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia represents the world’s most cherished trademark and invests in the most exciting events. Our Zambia operations currently have the following opportunity available for dynamic individuals with energy and initiative, keen to impact from the outset. This position will report to the National Logistics Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver and effective fleet benchmarking analysis, insight & fleet expertise.
  • Monitor utilization, monitor market conditions & develop & implement appropriate initiatives to ensure optimisation of fleet.
  • Fleet maintenance, monitor downtime & provide appropriate action for improvement. Operational support, manage processes & practices for fuel.
  • Ensure goals, SLA & work routines are clear.
  • Effectively manage team & individual performance.
  • Provide on the job training.
  • Fleet performance measure & processes, lean management.
  • Execution planning & schedule control project management, problem solving techniques, planning & organising, sound financial acumen

Skills, Experience & Education

  • Grade 12, O level with 5 credits or better.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications in logistics from a recognized institution 10 years’ work experience in logistics 5 years’ experience in management position Knowledge & understanding of FMCG logistic & fleet systems & processes Good understanding of Road Transport legislation
