Secretary (x2)

ZABS is a statutory body operating under the Standards Act No. 4 of 2017. The Bureau previously operated under the Standards Act CAP. 416 of 1994 which came to an end on 31 December 2017. ZABS exists to support industry in the production of goods and services of acceptable quality through provision of Standards development, Training and Conformity Assessment Semitic. It is the custodian of national standards and acts as a link between the local industry and regional and international standardisation and quality assurance (SQA) organisations.

The Bureau wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill the following vacant position:

Job Purpose

  • To provide and administrative services to the Directors according to the laid down procedures.

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Diploma in Secretarial and Office Management
  • Diploma in Public Administration or Human Resources will be an added advantage
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience
  • Candidate must have analytical skills and communication skills
  • Computer literate in excel, word processing, power point. Ability to work with minimum supervision, of sober character and capable of handling confidential matters.
