Office Administrative Assistant

Major Functions:

The Office and Administrative Assistant is responsible for keeping the office supplied and organized.

Major Duties and responsibilities:

  • Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
  • Maintaining files
  • Welcoming visitors to your office
  • Answering phone calls
  • Taking and delivering messages
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly
  • Scheduling meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees
  • Assists the sales & marketing by obtaining information required from clients and suppliers
  • Carries out banking/ financial and other outdoor messenger duties
  • Packs workshop materials, assists in setting workshop venue, inserts material in envelopes and checks outgoing mail
  • Other office duties such as photocopying, handling of in-coming/out-going phones, screening of visitors, etc
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • O-Level School Certificate
  • Certificate in Customer care or marketing
  • Ability to speak and write in English
  • Experience in events management and organization a plus

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, pleasant personality
  • A good team player
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours
  • Adherence to Insight Partners Africa Ltd’s values
  • This job description covers the main tasks and conveys the spirit of the sort of tasks that are anticipated proactively from staff. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary according to company needs.
