Job Opportunity

The Zambia Institute of Marketing is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-starter and experienced person to take up the position of Business Development Officer.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Prepare a detailed marketing and communications strategy for the growth of the Institute in line with the strategic plan.
• Conduct competitor and market trend analysis
• Develop revenue growth initiatives/streams
• Build strategic partnerships and relationships with various stakeholders
• Oversee management of the Institute’s digital platforms
• Increase the Institute is digital footprint
• Develop/implement stakeholders’ project proposals so as to increase revenue for the Institute
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Registrar and CEO

Skills and Education:

• ZIM Professional Diploma in Marketing or ZIM Professional Marketing
• Qualification or Degree in Marketing
• 3 to 5 years in a similar position
• Proven track record of developing marketing strategies in different industries
• Knowledge of proposal/tender writing
• Fluent communicator and possesses good presentation skills
• Speech/press release writing skills
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
