Kwame Nkrumah University invites application letters from qualified and sufficiently motivated members of the public to fill the following academic and administrative vacancies: Job Purpose: To manage all the procurements of the University, including maintenance and monitoring of procurement systems to ensure compliance with the procurement rules and regulations as provided in the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) Act No. 12 of 2008. Principal Accountabilities: To develop procurement plans tar the tJniversity in line with annual work plans and budgets and ensure value for money in all procurement activities of the University. To manage and launch invitations to tenders including preparation Of tender documents in compliance with Zambia Pllblic Procurement Authority Act No. 12 of 2008 and ensure all procurements are carried out according to tender, procedures, procurement guidelines and in a transparent and accountable manner. To manage and monitor all contracts for goods, services and works entered into by the University. To manage and organize the Procurement Unit processes and ensure that there is maximum efficiency, cost effectiveness and that all purchases represent value for money. To provide secretarial services to the University Procurement Committee and advise the Vice Chancellor on all matters relating to procurement activities and procedures.
