Juba Transport's trucks carry unleaded petroleum, gas, oil and paraffin, as well as acid from Ndola to various destinations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The destinations of its loads depend on the demand and requirements of fuel vendors.
Over the years Juba Transport has successfully developed and increased its vehicle fleet. Their trucks are constantly monitored by GEOTAB, via an on-board computer installed in every vehicle. To ensure it delivers an efficient service, the company monitors the actual location and trip activity for each vehicle. Vehicles can be tracked locally and internationally.
The management at Juba Transport ensures that the company's fleet of vehicles comply to Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA Zambia) regulations as well as international standards for fuel carriers, specifically with regard to speed limits and on-board safety.
The Juba fleet of vehicles is kept on the road by a well trained and equipped maintenance department. Trucks that come into the Juba Transport premises are subject to routine inspections in order to check for any defects. The company has service bays designed for specific repairs.
Repair works include routine vehicle service, panel beating, part replacement and more. State of the art equipment is used to ensure that vehicles are serviced properly and efficiently. An oil pump is used to replace engine oil quickly and safely without any spillage. Routine tyre checks are carried out on all vehicles, and tyres are changed regularly before severe degradation, to avoid unexpected failure.
