Kayube Zambezi River House offers luxury self catering accommodation on a large private estate on the Zambezi River in a fenced and secure environment. It is upstream from Victoria Falls, opposite Zimbabwe's Zambezi National Park. The self-contained ground floor, suitable for four, has two en-suite air conditioned bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, large swimming pool, braai area and boat. The house features an outdoor pool, spacious lounge with dining area, a well stocked library and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy views of the river and the National Park from the terrace and pool deck.

Kayube has a most romantic setting on the banks of the upper Zambezi River. The lodgings, scattered along the river bank, each one very private, consists of a spacious and luxurious 2 bed-roomed house with pool, three bungalows on stilts with big sliding doors and a deck all along the front, hidden away amongst enormous riverine trees, and the quaint Mama out of Africa, once the mobile dressing room for the 'Out of Africa' film crew and now resting under a huge thatched roof.

A place surrounded by natural beauty, the river with its for-ever changing moods the wildlife, elephants, buffalo, giraffe and many different antelopes just to name a few are seen and heard from the Zambezi National Park across the river, the resident hippos and the amazing birding opportunities are all around. A small cage pool surrounded by a sundeck floats in the Zambezi River.

It is difficult to pull yourself away to explore the Victoria Falls, 20 km downstream, and all Livingstone and the region has to offer. These unique self-catering options are ideal for a longer stay of a week or more but can also be rented for a minimum of two nights.

The lodgings, scattered along the river bank, each one very private, consists of three spacious and luxurious three bungalows on stilts with big sliding doors and a deck all along the front, hidden away amongst enormous riverine trees. The views on the Zambezi are stunning with forever changing moods and colours.

Staying at Kayube Estate is an unforgettable experience!. Three small bungalows, hidden away under the big trees and bush on the rivers’ edge. Sleep one couple or a couple with one or two children. The Estate is 25 km outside Livingstone a 25 minute drive, partly through the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

From time to time herds of elephants are seen drinking across the river. Lion, hyena, zebra and of course hippo's are often heard during the day and night.

Kayube means 'hide away' It is a romantic place on one of the most enchanting rivers of the world. Also an ideal safari base for a family or a couple of friends.
