Namununga is a co-education school for both primary and secondary school level, providing quality education, and special needs care in a vibrant and nurturing environment. The school has two well equipped computer centres teaching computer literacy to primary students grade 1 – 9 and a special needs class.

Computer literacy and library facilities

Namununga have two well equipped computer centres teaching computer literacy to primary students grade 1 – 9. This class familiarises learners with all aspects of computer technology. Primary level children are encouraged to use computers when preparing projects in other subjects. The library caters for both primary and secondary children, where a range of reading activities appropriate to the various age groups are available and story times and the young readers section are very popular for the primary school students. Extra-curricular programme

Rhetorical skills are developed with participation in the highly successful debating and public speaking teams. These include educational camps and outings, speech and drama, music, art club, chess club, anti-aids club, Redcross, Jets and Namununga community service club. Sporting activities include netball, soccer, athletics and swimming.

The school has a special needs class catering for children who need more individual attention. The level of service given is based on the abilities of each child. This is a free community service that is offered by the school.
