How to keep your money safe with Zoona

Every month, Zoona is trusted by over 1 million Zambians who use their services to send and receive money safely and securely.

Zoona take the safety of these transactions and the integrity of their system very seriously – working very hard to earn and retain this trust.

Zoona is regulated by the Bank of Zambia and ZICTA and adheres to the strictest system protocols and system integrity checks. The Zoona Accounts are also audited by independent auditors.

Zoona can assure all our customers that our system has in no way ever been hacked or compromised – any reports in that regard are incorrect.

Nevertheless, it is important that all valued customers remain vigilant to prevent fraud. Keeping your PIN safe and entering it yourself when doing a transaction is the best way to remain safe. Without the PIN, it is impossible for anyone to cash-out a money transfer.

Zoona will never call you to ask you for your PIN - or to ask about your transaction. Never share your PIN with anyone except the receiver.

If you suspect you have been a victim of fraud – please contact 321 toll free. Zoona's team is here to help you – they will open a case and launch an investigation to get to the bottom of the incident.
