A basic idea of what your tackle box should look like

Coming fishing to Nsofu and have no idea what tackle to bring ? Heres a basic idea of what your tackle box should look like:

  • Fishing rod : 6 ft 7 or 7 foot medium heavy action rod. Nsofu recommend Shimano nexave or Daiwa Tiger tamer
  • Reel : Baitrunner in a 4000 size. Nsofu recommend shimano or any other reputable brands. Tigerfish tend to destroy any reel with a weak drag system.
  • Hooks : Size 5/0 and 4/0 hooks preferably long shank
  • Trace : 40LB piano wire or trace
  • Line : 30 LB monofilament or 30 LB braid. Whichever you prefer
  • Lures : Topwater lures for the early morning are great fun
