10 students from Chasdale Community School in Chaisa compound recently visited the International School of Lusaka to receive scholarships for school fees, uniform and stationery, which will enable them to continue their secondary level schooling.
As part of the school outreach and community service programme, the ISL PTA is sponsoring the education of 9 students and a group of ISL DP1 students (Chanda, Pira, Sirad, Nadia, Maryam, Chama, Zewe, Michael and Akshat) is sponsoring one more student as part of their IB Diploma CAS programme.
ISL’s IB Diploma Programme Students have been supporting Chasdale Community School since 2008, visiting each week to run activities and lessons and raising funds. Ms. Marian Mukupa who founded Chasdale School in 2007, for vulnerable children and orphans, has a vision to see Chasdale students complete their secondary education. However, secondary schools are not free and sponsors are needed. We wish those students best of luck in their secondary studies!
