The Educore Teacher's Academy is Zambia's first fully practice-based training programme. It offers Diplomas in Primary and Secondary teaching, either through a three-year qualification programme for school leavers or through a one-year graduate fast-track programme.

At present, this academy provides training for two qualifications that include a post-graduate diploma in teaching and learning, and a primary teacher's diploma.
Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning - participants must have gained a degree in either maths or science-related discipline in order to qualify. The duration of the training is 1 year followed by a year employed as a newly qualified teacher (NQT).
Primary Teachers Diploma - participants must be in possession of a quality grade 12 certificate with at least a merit in English, Maths and Science. The duration of the programme is 2 years. The aims of teacher training are threefold:
Trainees are provided with mentors and guidance materials to help them engage in learning about teaching through experience in the classroom.
Attendance at weekly pedagogy lectures is compulsory and assessment is through continuous assessment. Each year a new cohort of new trainees are recruited in August to begin their training in the following January.
